Glitch text: where it works, and where it breaks
Glitch text stacks combining marks on each letter. That’s dramatic — but it’s also the most fragile effect on this site, so here’s the honest picture:
- Works: ✅ Discord, and many bios and posts, keep the marks and show the drip.
- Often stripped or clipped: ⚠️ lots of apps strip combining marks, cut the drip off at the line above, or lag on heavy strings. Instagram and many name fields fall here.
- Blocked: ❌ @usernames and filtered game names reject it.
Start with Light — it survives in more places. Heavy looks the most cursed but is the most likely to be stripped or to overflow into the line above.
